I want a custom ornament! How does this work?

Place your order via the product listing.
Once your order is placed, you need to email me a reference photo for whoever is on the ornament as well as the family name for the ornament. Reference photos and name information should be sent via email within one week of placing your order.
PLEASE NOTE: If I do not receive a reference photo, your ornament cannot (and will not) be painted.
All ornaments will have the year “2024” on them unless specifically requested otherwise by the buyer.
Upon completion of your ornament, I will send a picture to you via email. I will allow up to 24 hours for comments / adjustments before I ship the ornament.

What do you need / look for in a reference photo?

Ideal reference photos show height differences, hair styles, facial hair, and skin tones. Animal photos should include tails and distinctive markings. If you have custom requests that aren't visible in a photo (for example - please put a beard on my husband even though he doesn't have one in the photo I provided), make sure you include it in your email. 😊

I don't have any reference photos of the family I want painted. What do I do?

Unfortunately, I require reference photos of for all ornaments. Without a reference photo, I cannot complete your order.

Will my ornament arrive in time for Christmas?

The deadline to order for guaranteed shipping for Christmas is October 1.

What is your processing/shipping time?

Orders are painted and processed in the order they're received. All orders currently ship within eight weeks. :)

I need more humans (or more pets) than listed on the ornament page. What do I do?

Is there a word limit on the number of words you can fit on an ornament?

I can typically only fit about four or five words (plus a date) on an ornament. I'll let you know if something won't fit.

I just placed my order. How quickly do you need my reference photos?

Within 24 hours if possible. If not, please send them within one week!

Do you offer cancellations or refunds?

Any cancellation request submitted via email within 24 hours of the order being placed will be approved. Any cancellation request submitted via email after 24 hours has passed is at my discretion and is based on processing progress for your order.

Oh no! I need to change my address. Can I ship to a different address than what's on my order?

Please send me an email with your change in address, and I will do my very best to accommodate the request. :)

Do you offer discounts if I order more than one ornament?

All orders ship free! If you plan to order 10 ornaments or more, email me for a discount.

I see you offer house backgrounds. Do you offer other types of background options?

It depends. 😊 Email me!

What size are your ornaments?

They range from three inches to six inches. Smaller families, pet only, and house only ornaments are typically 3-4 inches. Larger families and house+family ornaments are typically 4-6 inches. Exact size and appearance of wood slices varies.

Do you ever offer sales on your ornaments?

No, I do not. Sorry!

Do you seal the ornaments?

Nope. You're welcome to if you'd like once you receive it. 😊

Is there a limit to the number of photos I can send?

Please keep it at or below six photos per ornament if possible.
